Holding Tank Vent Filters

Holding tank vent filters are a key component in combating odors in boats and RVs. These filters are connected inline with the water holding tank vents, allowing air to pass through while filtering the air to eliminate the bad smells associated with sewage. The charcoal in the filters is very effective in preventing unpleasant smells from emanating from the head of a boat. Wastewater holding tank vent filters should be changed annually in northern climates with shorter boating seasons, and semi-annually when boats are used year-round. They are sold as a kit including mounting brackets or as replacement cartridges. The vent filters are offered with four different sized fittings: 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, and 1-1/2 inch. These filter cartridges are compatible with most kits produced by other companies including Sealand, Sanigard, and Dometic.
