Marina Spill Kit - Oil Only Sorbent Boom

This Trionic Corp Marina Spill Kit houses 120 feet of sorbent boom to deploy in response to a marina spill.

Marina Spill Kit Contents:

• Model 8006 Dock Box (48.25" wide x 28.5" deep x 29" high)
• 12 Oil-Only Sorbent Booms - 5 inch diameter - 10 foot length per section

These booms are "Oil-Only" which means they absorb fuel, oil, and other hydrocarbons without absorbing water. These products float on the water's surface and absorb the spill as the spill comes in contact.  They float even when fully saturated.  Each section has an embedded rope to aid in deployment and retrieval.  Each boom has clips to allow sections to be connected end to end with an overlap to allow deployment in whatever length is needed.  

Having a spill response box easily accessible on your marina dock is typcially required for local safety codes and to abide by "Clean Marina" standards.  Spills can occur during fueling and maintenance and are also an issue when a boat sinks or capsizes, catches fire, or is damaged in an accident.  Be prepared. 

Review your marina insurance policy requirements, as a minimum quantity of spill boom is required based on the length of the longest boat docked in the marina.
