Fire Extinguisher Enclosures

In addition to protecting your fire extinguishers from the elements to extend life and reduce malfunctions, the pedestals also feature a life ring mount as well. This durable yet economical option keeps your docks looking sharp while also being easy to spot for anyone faced with an emergency situation of a fire or person in the water and needing assistance. These fire extinguisher pedestals are also well suited for poolside and private docks as well.

These pedestals are designed to house a standard 10 pound fire extinguisher and 24 or 30 inch life ring. Constructed using heavy duty rust proof aluminum and powder coated, these cabinets are heavy duty and will offer years of attractive and durable service. The stainless steel hardware will also hold up for years.

In order for your location to comply with code NFPA 303 6.2.1.1.1, the following requirements must be met:
“(1) Extinguishers listed for Class A, Class B, and Class C fires shall be installed at the pier/land intersection on a pier that exceeds 25 ft. in length.
(2) Additional fire extinguishers shall be placed such that the maximum travel distance to an extinguisher does not exceed 75 ft.
